Solomon Airlines will lease an Airbus 320-200 aircraft from an Australian provider from August this year. The aircraft will come from Strategic Airlines, an Australian carrier established in 2005 and previously involved in transporting military personnel from Australia to the Middle East.

The new aircraft has 12 business class and 144 economy seats and will be operated by Strategic’s own pilots, but with Solomon Airlines cabin crew.
